Biography

As the BBC’s Brussels Correspondent, Adam created the award-winning podcast Brexitcast which became Electioncast… then Coronavirus Newscast… and is now Newscast, which he presents every day on BBC Sounds and weekly on BBC One. His immersion in the Brexit negotiations and the Coronavirus pandemic has given him amazing insights into the two stories dominating our era, and a unique relationship with audiences. Previously he was a reporter on BBC2’s Daily Politics, covering three general elections, the Scottish independence referendum and the vote to leave the EU. He began his career as a presenter of Newsround. He has made documentaries for Radio 4, hosted live events and appeared on programmes from Today to The One Show.
