PODCAST DAY by Radiodays Europe is pleased to announce the BBC’s Brussels Reporter Adam Fleming as a speaker on 13th June 2019, London.
Adam Fleming has been the BBC’s Brussels Reporter since the Brexit negotiations began in June 2017. He covers the EU institutions for radio, TV and online. He prides himself on appearing on virtually every episode of the Brexitcast podcast, even dialling in from his holidays. Previously he was a reporter for BBC2’s Daily Politics programme and a political correspondent for BBC News during three general elections, the Scottish Independence referendum and the vote to leave the EU. He began his career presenting Newsround on CBBC which saw him reporting on the premiere of a new Star Wars film one day and Barack Obama’s inauguration the next. He studied Geography at Hertford College, Oxford and Broadcast Journalism at City University in London, where he worked on student radio with… Chris Mason. He was born and went to school in Glasgow. He enjoys running and board games, although has done little of either since his life was consumed by Brexit.
