Louise talked about ‘A Gay and a Non-Gay’ – and her interest in podcasts which open your ears to different perspectives. She noted their chemistry, rapport and unique perspective which moves the conversation on in a wider sense.
Arif recommended ‘Running From Cops’- from the makers of ‘Missing Richard Simmons’ – which follows police as they’re arresting criminals. He advocated that police are taken seriously in the series and it’s deep-dive journalism format.
Karen spoke about ‘Den Nye Stil’ – which tells the story of Danish rap music, and the society built around it. She said that she is particularly proud of the sound design for the podcast – which makes it both musical and historical.
And James advocated for ‘Death In Ice Valley’ – which he said it was given time and space, in a way that radio can’t be. He also said they used their Facebook group to add to the content, and recorded each episode week by week, including audience participation.
