London in June 2020 is going to be full of football fans and podcast fans alike. If you're a fan of both, you might be wondering how you might get to a UEFA EURO Championship game along the way. Here’s all the information you need about the football games in and around PODCAST DAY 2020, so you know what to expect.
In 2020, the EURO 2020 is structured differently as 12 cities play host to the matches, as opposed to one in previous tournaments. This means that people all over Europe can experience the delights of European football – and it also means that you have the opportunity to make a game in any given host city. These host cities include; Amsterdam, Bilbao, Bucharest, Budapest, Copenhagen, Dublin, Glasgow and London, Baku, Munich, Rome and Saint Petersburg.
As PODCAST DAY is in London on the 16th of June, right at the start of the Round of 16, below are some games we think you should know about…

Did you know… In the last round of sales, there were over 19.3 million requests fo tickets, with 1.5 million tickets on offer. In total, there will be over 3 million tickets allocated to fans. The Football Association has its own application conditions, whereby you allocate the country you follow and that is the team you can be in the running to see play, in any of the given host cities. If a country is eliminated from the competition, fans will be reimbursed for these tickets.
This means a lot of tickets have been allocated already – but not all! Why not try your luck for Wembley on Sunday 14th of June, before Radiodays Europe PODCAST DAY, or Glasgow, Dublin or Sweden on Monday 15th of June, on your way to London?
Simply register your country of interest and you could potentially be attending a knockout stage match for your chosen team, irrespective of location.
